The food was great for breakfast. BACON!!!! Wow so good. Large portions for a reasonable price. But oj and coffee was high. Especially since we got seconds on oj. I had classic eggs, and bacon with potatoes and toast. Granddaughter had french toast with bacon and eggs. We got a side of biscuits and gravy. Huge portion, got to take more than 2/3rds home. New favorite place!

My boyfriend was craving chicken fried steak and Hot Off the Griddle was the place to try it! We came on a Sunday morning and it was a full house. We waited a bit, but the wait wasn't too long. The staff is extremely friendly and even seated us elsewhere when the waitress found out we were seated at a wobbly table. My boyfriend ordered the chicken fried steak and I got the eggs benedict. The food comes out really quickly and everything is portioned nicely. I also loved how the fruit that comes with the egg benedict is fresh! It was all sweet and in season. The potatoes were also crispy and soft. For the eggs benedict itself, my egg yolks were unfortunately cooked and were not runny. That was the only downside to my meal. My boyfriend said the chicken fried steak was decent, but it wasn't anything special. It was nice of them to let him switch the toast/pancake to a biscuit though! Overall the food was good and the service was great! I can see why the locals love it here.

Recently, I haven't had time to record reviews on Yelp, but today, I had to make time to compliment this sweet restaurant. Hot Off The Griddle is an absolute gem! Not only are the food and mimosas delicious, the service is exceptional and absolutely phenomenal! My family lost our beloved fur pup, early the morning we visited this restaurant. We didn't share this with the employees, but if you've ever lost a fur-lovey YK the pain is written all over your face. When people say, "you look like your dog died," our faces displayed this-although we were all trying to keep spirits high, and mask the pain. The service at Hot Off The Griddle was absolutely amazing! I could tell the employees were being even more kind and thoughtful than they already are because they could most likely see the pain on us. The delicious fare soothed our bellies, and their kindness soothed our souls. I will forever frequent this gem; thank you!

My favorite place for traditional breakfast/brunch food! Everything we've tried here has been exceptional - the coffee, omelettes, French toast, pancakes. HOTG never misses. It's not as aesthetic or cute as other breakfast spots, but it more than makes up for that in the quality of the food and service.
